Graduate Student Recruitment Event
Next event will be held in January 2026
The Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering hosts a yearly recruitment event that allows potential students to visit campus and meet faculty to gain a better understanding of the opportunities in the department. Invited students will be provided with lodging and meals. Travel scholarships are available for travel within the U.S.
A limited number of spots are available. Applications are considered on a merit basis. Applicants will be contacted with an official invitation.

Faculty from all areas will be present to introduce current research areas and answer questions.
Two-Day Itinerary
Friday
- Meet potential faculty advisors
- Visit with current graduate students
- Tour the department, lab facilities, research farms and UK’s campus
Saturday
- Tour of Lexington
- Visit local cultural destinations
